With more than 15 years of experience in performing teaching, Brennan Blankenship has developed a vocal technique suitable for all ages and styles. Students from her Houston-based studio are scholarship-winning Vocal Performance majors, Musical theater majors, and All-State choir members. From guiding the beginning music student through the basics of singing to honing the craft of the aspiring professional performer, Brennan is ready to help you reach your singing and performing goals.
Ms. Blankenship is an excellent teacher if you are looking to develop your voice into a mature operatic sound. In the past year that I have had her, my voice has completely changed in sound, breath support, and musicality. Because of this I have been accepted into a highly prestigious opera internship that I know I would not have been ready for had I not taken her lessons. She is easy to communicate with and her prices are reasonable. I highly recommend Ms. Blankenship as a voice teacher!

Music Theory Student
Brennan is a amazing tutor and I was so glad we found her to help [me] with [my] Music Theory class. [We] worked really well together and had so much in common. [I] really learned a lot and strongly recommend her. Now [I am] more confident and [my] grades are improving.
Classical Voice Student
Brennan is a great teacher who will come up with multiple different ways to explain a concept until something clicks. I'm really impressed in her ability to figure out her students learning methods and to apply them.
Classical Voice Parent
Brennan is an amazing voice teacher! Our daughter has learned so much about reading music, counting the beats, breathing properly, music theory, and much more from Miss Blankenship. We couldn't be happier with our daughter's progress.
Classical and Musical Theater Voice Parent
My daughter loves receiving voice lessons from Ms. Brennan. She looks forward to seeing her every week. Her voice has improved too. We are very happy with her and highly recommend her.
In light of the recent CDC announcement, in-person lessons will resume immediately.
That being said, there are a few conditions for in-person participants.
All persons of the student's household must be vaccinated. Exceptions are made for those with health risks and those who are too young for a vaccine.
Please keep in mind that online lessons are ALWAYS possible, and preferred if you or someone in your household is a bit under the weather, if you are traveling, or if you would simply rather stay home that day.
In order to make the most out of your online lesson, please make sure you have a secure internet connection, a computer, a set of headphones, a microphone (the ones inside headphones work!), and a separate device such as your phone, tablet or other computer through which to play accompaniment music.
